Setting up Solution Stars Email (POP3)


You must have an Internet access account and an email program in order to set up email. Contact Sales to set up an access account. Many email programs are available, some free, many not. Be sure that your email program is compatible with your operating system before installing it.

If you are getting a server error when trying to send mail, verify your existing settings against the ones listed here. 99% of sending problems are related to the SMTP authentication setting.

Our system uses secured SMTP.  This prevents spammers from using our servers to send their mail, while still allowing our clients to freely send email.

Email setup is specific to the type of email program you use. Instructions are provided for common email programs. Please click on the email client you are trying to configure. If your email client is not listed, please call technical support. While we make every effort to include instructions for most clients, we cannot support every email client out there.

NOTICE:  Our mail servers will store your email for 90 days.  If you wish to keep your email longer than that, you must back it up to your own PC.  Solution Stars is not responsible for lost data under any circumstances, and we recommend that you make regular backups of ALL data on your PC, including your email.
